Soulmate in a Stranger


 Before I was a loner

Constantly circling in my own world

Thought that love could never stop by ever

As I couldn't find my special lover.


Then I met you one summer

for hours we sat and talked to each other

like old friends we were, I remember

Funny I thought that I had found my soulmate in a stranger.


I knew I had found my forever

Someone I could love endlessly

My love has only grown deeper

And she has made my life sweeter.

      everyone has their own take...it's not easy ofcourse. But see this poem only with it's poetic side. Plus the people who are ready to give it all become strangers to soulmates overtime.

WHY

  The only thread through every memory, nothing more than a single word untold. Whispered by my mind, seeking answers the heart cannot hold. I ask myself, was it everything I asked for? Or merely a wish dressed as fate? Or was it a lesson sent by time, that my soul has learned to hate? No, I never asked for it, yet was given a taste of it. Bitter, yet I craved it still, and wondered, why I could not let it slip. I'll carry it with me as a chapter, a page I never meant to write. Though its wounds still linger within me, I'll keep asking why tonight. Th question will lie in me as an unanswered prayer while my efforts fade into the air I thank my heart for its courage to open up, While I close this chapter with the same question: WHY?
