SWEATER
You drape around my shoulders, warm and sure, A borrowed hush against the brittle air; In every thread, I feel my heart endure The ache of wanting more than I can bear. You hold me when the world is sharp and loud, Your weight a promise stitched into my skin; I hide my shaking where I’m not so proud, Pretend this closeness is not pulling me in. I crave the way you know me without touch, The silent care you never have to prove; I fear I want your comfort far too much, Mistaking shelter for a deeper love. If I should lose you, cold would know my name For warmth like yours is never quite the same.
Now That's deep!
ReplyDeleteI have no idea what inspires you to think this way and but whatever it is , it's amazing and it's professional and also very real and that again is exactly why it's so easy to relate to . Keep going and good luck for your bright future!!❤️
